Whitebeard Pirates

A legendary pirate respected by his enemies and allies alike. In his heyday as captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, he was considered to be the strongest man in the world. As one of the Four Emperors and a rival to the late Gold Roger, Newgate was arguably the man closest to the One Piece. He met his end on the battlefield of the Marineford Summit War.

Associates – Edward Newgate, better known as "Whitebeard", held a vast network of territories and allies. The Whitebeard pirates themselves numbered in the thousands, and commanded nearly 50 subordinate New World pirate crews. His other allies included the "Knight of the Sea" Jinbe, and briefly, "Buggy the Clown" and "Straw Hat" Luffy.

The former first division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Despite joining as an apprentice, he eventually became his captain's right hand. Marco's status is unknown after he led the Whitebeard remnants in the unsuccessful "Payback War" against the Blackbeard Pirates. His immediate eradication is of the utmost importance to the World Government. 

Associates – "Marco the Phoenix" began his career as a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, and thus his associations are closely linked with the crew's. With the disbandment of the crew, his current affiliation is unknown. As Whitebeard's obvious successor, he presumably retains unofficial leadership of the former members following their captain's death.

A upstart pirate who served as the catalyst of the Summit War. His Spade Pirates sought out Whitebeard in order to take his head, later joining him instead. He was briefly Whitebeard's second division commander. Following his capture by Blackbeard and delivery to the Marines, Ace escaped his execution only to be killed minutes later by Admiral Sakazuki.

Associates – "Fire Fist" Ace's lineage was the reason for his public execution at Marineford. Although kept secret for decades, he was the biological son of the Pirate King, Gold Roger. Ace was an adopted son of Whitebeard, and the Whitebeard Pirates waged open war against the Marines in his name. He was also the sworn brother of "Straw Hat" Luffy.

A legendary samurai and a former daimyo of the mysterious Wano Country. Oden was the only pirate to have verifiably sailed as a member of both the Whitebeard Pirates and Roger Pirates. Returning to his native country following the final voyage of the Roger Pirates, he was confirmed to have perished around that time some 20 years ago.

Associates – The "Foolish Lord" Kozuki Oden's career in piracy was brief, but extraordinary. After a short tenure as Whitebeard's second division commander, he went on to join the Pirate King Gold Roger in his final expedition to Laugh Tale. Needless to say, were Oden still alive today he would be one of the world's most wanted criminals.

A monstrous enforcer reputed to be as tough as a diamond. He was the third division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates prior to their disbandment. Jozu was an original member of the Whitebeard crew, having joined as an apprentice in his early youth. This individual is known to be exceptionally strong and extremely dangerous. 

Associates – "Diamond Jozu" began his career as a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, his associations are closely linked with the crew's. With the disbandment of the crew, his current affiliation is unknown. He is the second highest-ranking former officer still alive, which would imply that he continues to hold influence among the crew's remnants.
 

Crimes – Piracy, Theft, Trespassing, Assault, Robbery, Murder, Destruction of government property, Open war against the World Government 

A gentlemanly pirate considered to be one of the world's top swordsmen. He held the rank of fifth division commander in the Whitebeard Pirates until the crew's disbandment in the wake of the failed Payback War. He is an experienced sailor, having been a pirate for over 30 years. This individual is known to be exceptionally strong and extremely dangerous. 

Associates – "Flower Swords Vista" and his criminal associations go hand in hand with those of the Whitebeard crew. His current status and association is unknown, as is the case with many of his former colleagues. As a former high ranking officer in the crew, he certainly holds sway amongst the Whitebeard Pirates remnants.

A Wano Country native and notorious New World pirate. Izou presumably joined the Whitebeard Pirates at the same time as fellow Wano native Kozuki Oden, but unlike Oden remained on the crew until its disbandment, as commander of the sixteenth division. This individual is known to be exceptionally strong and extremely dangerous. 

Associates – "Flintlock Pistols Izou" is unique amongst the former Whitebeard Pirates, and even amongst most pirates in general. As one of the very few Wano-born pirates in history, almost nothing is known of his past prior to his career on the Grand Line. He presumably keeps in communication with the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates.

Perhaps the most cunning, treacherous pirate alive. Marshall D. Teach is the admiral of the Blackbeard Pirates. After double-crossing the World Government and slaying his former captain Whitebeard at the Summit War, he captured new territory and became an Emperor. His immediate eradication is of the utmost importance to the World Government. 

Associates – “Blackbeard” was a longtime member of the Whitebeard Pirates, until he murdered “Twin Blades” Thatch and subsequently defected. He has a history of targeting both naval and civil criminals for recruitment, such as the “Crescent Moon Hunter” Catarina Devon and “Demon Sheriff” Lafitte, respectively.

A notorious fishman pirate who was a member of the Sun Pirates and Seven Warlords of the Sea before resigning from both groups. According to the World Economy News Paper, he has now joined the ranks of the Straw Hat Pirates as a helmsman. This individual is known to be exceptionally strong and extremely dangerous. 

Associates – Despite his criminal status, "Knight of the Sea" Jinbe is known to hold strong influence in the Ryugu Kingdom on Fishman Island. He is connected to the remaining Sun Pirates faction, in addition to being a prominent ally of the disbanded Whitebeard Pirates. He was an associate of the Big Mom Pirates until his defection to the Straw Hats.

An infamous veteran pirate of the New World. He is the captain of the Maelstrom Spider Pirates, which was formerly a subordinate crew of the Whitebeard Pirates. He is notorious for having stabbed Whitebeard through the chest early in the internationally televised Summit War. This individual is known to be exceptionally strong and extremely dangerous. 

Associates – Decades ago, "Maelstrom Spider" Squard led a crew of pirates that was completely wiped out by the Pirate King, Gold Roger. He was taken in by Whitebeard as an adopted son, and formed the Maelstrom Spider Pirates under Whitebeard's protection. His main associations were the Whitebeard Pirates as well as their other subordinate crews.

The largest pirate captain in the world, and a descendant of the ancient giants. Oars was the leader of the Little Pirates and a subordinate captain of the Whitebeard Pirates. He was gravely injured by several Warlords of the Sea at the Summit War, however the broadcast of the event was cut for unknown reasons and his post-war status is unknown.

Associates – In order to survive in the New World, "Oars III" allied himself with the Emperor Whitebeard. A fearsome pirate in his own right, his connections mainly included the Whitebeard Pirates and their subordinate crews. He is known to have shared an especially close bond with "Fire Fist" Ace, hence the remarkable actions he took at Marineford.
